Springtime on the farm

Dodging rainshowers this spring, we've managed to get about half of our crop in the ground so far. Mother Nature seems to be constantly reminding us to slow down, remember that it really is only mid-May. This spring has brought many new work adventures- Peter is here showing us what 12 tons of field pea seed looks like (answer: it's a lot of peas):

23 adorable piglets from our two mama sows:

 and planting our first fields of barley and oats (pictures on an upcoming post).
